DRESS CODE and BLESSINGS

All students and their parents participating in Bezalel will conform to the dress code of Bezalel and FCA. This includes, but is not limited to:

NO hats or caps on in the building
NO shorts. Loose-fitting capris and culottes (knee length or longer) are allowed, but no underwear should be seen when dancing or stretching
NO dance leotards, unless a T-shirt is worn over the top
NO form-fitting clothing allowed (ie. tight tops, spandex outfits, bike shorts)
Appropriate underwear should be worn, but not seen
NO ballet skirts (all skirts must be below the knee)
NO tank tops
NO T-shirts with un-Christian or occult text or pictures
NO gang-related colors or paraphenalia
Shirts must cover the entire torso area, even while dancing or with arms raised up high, with no midriff or cleavage showing.
One set of earrings, correctly worn, will be accepted for female students.
NO earrings may be worn by male students.
NO body or facial piercings. If body parts (other than ears on females) are already pierced, no jewelry should be seen in them on class days.
Un-natural hair color, such as blue or green, is inappropriate
NO firearms or tobacco products are to be used while at Bezalel. The campus of FCA is a non-smoking facility, both inside and outside the building.
Bare feet, jazz shoes or ballet shoes must be worn on the dance floor in the dance studio, to protect the floor from the wear and tear of regular street shoes.

In order to be a blessing to FCA, we have established a few, simple rules for everyone's enjoyment and safety:

Parents, please remain on the campus with your children until their classes are over. If you must leave, please make sure another parent takes the responsibility for your children while they are at Bezalel.
Please enter and exit through the basement door.
Do NOT park on the row directly in front of the building. You may park in spaces along the street or in the vacant parking lot across Fennel Rd.
Pastor Napier and FCA offices are located in the same building. Therefore, hallways should remain quiet.
For the safety of all, there should be no running or rough-housing in the building.
There is a fenced-in grassy area at the side of the building where children can play when not in classes (with adult supervision - NO climbing on the fence and any broken windows will be the responsibility of the student who broke it, even if it was an accident).
If parents have other children not in class and would like a place indoors to do schoolwork or play quiet games, there is a room off the dance studio for this purpose.
Eating is allowed only in the cafeteria room or outside. Adults may use the refrigerator & microwave in the kitchen to store & heat up lunch food.
Students and parents will keep their conversations clean. Profanity, threatening remarks or disrespectful speech can result in dismissal from the class and/or school without refund or compensation.
In the interest of pleasing the Lord, we purpose to demonstrate and continually train our children in Christ-like behavior while we are participating in Bezalel school classes and events.
We all realize that participation in Bezalel School of International Dance and Pageantry is a privilege and a blessing and purpose to pray regularly for our enrichment and involvement.

Heavenly Father, we ask that You bless each family who enters these facilities. We ask for your protection on all who attend. We ask for financial blessings to be poured out on this, Your house of worship. We ask You to guard our hearts and minds so that we may do and say only those things which are encouraging to one another and promote unity and love. We want to bring You glory in our attitudes and behavior. Bless us, dear LORD, so that we might be a blessing. May we dance, as David did, out of hearts overflowing with praise and gratitude. Give us a heart for the nations and a love for the lost. Let us not think only of our own interests, but the interests of others. In the name & through the power of the shed blood of our Lord Jesus we ask these things. AMEN!
